Plaster casts based on historical figures were my childhood obsession, even after I started drawing them as part of my portfolio to get into art school. My uncle was an instructor who taught students how to create plaster cast drawings for art school, so I was surrounded by them throughout my childhood. The shapes and appearances of the casts sparked my imagination in a very natural way.
